After successful completion of the final exam, your paperwork will be processed and your Boating Safety I.D. Card and Certificate will be mailed to you.

Your I.D. card and certificate are proof of successful completion of this course. Many insurance companies give marine insurance discounts to boat owners who have completed such a course. All you need to do is fax them a copy of your certificate.
