How to Get Your Certification

Who may operate a vessel

To receive your Boating Safety I.D. Card and Certificate you must successfully pass the final exam. When you have completed the course material and successfully completed all review quizzes, we suggest you take the practice exam to make sure you have understood the material.

When you are ready to take the final exam, you will need a credit card to log in. When you log in with a credit card, you will receive your results and a temporary certificate immediately upon successfull completion. You may also pay by mail or fax, instructions are provided when you access the final exam.

Once you have logged in to the final exam, please bookmark the page. This will allow you to return to the final exam in the event you lose your internet connection or must stop before completing the test.

After successful completion of the final exam, your paperwork will be processed and your Boating Safety I.D. Card and Certificate will be mailed to you.

Your I.D. card and certificate are proof of successful completion of this course.
